As part of the fund raising efforts for the Grand Master’s ANABTA Project, our Provincial Demonstration Team presented the enactment of a 19th century K.T. ritual. This was first seen, to great acclaim, at the Triennial meeting in Winchester and was held in the Grand Temple at Mark Masons’ Hall, with a River Boat Trip afterwards.
2009 AGM
As most of you will be aware from the Official Visits this year, the 2009 Provincial Meeting has been put back until after the Triennial Conference and will be held on Wednesday 16th September, 11.00am, at:
Brook House Masonic Centre, Brook Lane, Botley, Hampshire SO30 2ER.
By command of the Right Eminent Provincial Prior a Chapter of Provincial Priory will be holden at the Brook House Masonic Centre, Brook Lane, Botley, SO30 2ER, under the Banner of Pilgrim Preceptory No.357 on Wednesday 16th September at 11am. All Eminent Preceptors, Constables and Officers of the Province and members of the Provincial Prior's Bodyguard are hereby summoned to attend, and all other Knights of the Province are invited to be present.
Uniform or Morning Dress with Full Knight Templar Regalia - Lunch at Brook House Masonic Centre, at 13:30 hours.
Parking at the Community Hall on the main road just past Brook Lane and in the Masonic Hall Car Park
AGM - Ladies Excursion to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - 2009
An excursion has been arranged to the above location departing Brook House, Botley at 10.30am, returning at 4.15pm, in time for tea and biscuits. Cost £20.00 (Cheques made payable to Prov. Priory Hants & I.O.W)
This year celebrates the 250th anniversary of the laying of the keel of HMS Victory and so our ladies trip is to “Portsmouth Historic Dockyard”, where there will be the opportunity of a guided tour of Nelson’s Flag Ship. Your Ticket also includes access to all the other attractions within the dockyard - the Mary Rose Ship Hall, Mary Rose Museum, Harbour Tour, HMS Warrior - the first iron hulled armoured warship powered by steam & sail, etc. etc.
Lunch is not included, however, there are a number of outlets providing a wide variety of food. Allocation for places on this trip will be on a first come, first served basis.
